NYSE Fall Season 2021

The NYSE Basketball Development League combines clinic-like instruction, team practices and league play in a 8-week league. NYSE features a teaching progression to develop the skills and teach the concepts that comprise what we refer to as Basketball Intelligence.

The positive benefits of NYSE are:

• Everyone plays. Trainings, practices and league play helps players to understand the game. The goal is to encourage more repetitions in games and game-like situations.
• No negative coaching. Coaches collaborate and work together, in order to create a positive atmosphere.
• More action and fun. No sitting on the bench equals more fun for all players. Trainings feature active, dynamic drills and small-sided games to teach concepts and train skills.

INCLUDED IN OUR SEASON:

TEAM PRACTICES (Lake Nona Middle School)

1 HOUR OF PRACTICE PER WEEK

Each team will practice once per week. Practices held at Lake Nona Middle School.

NYSE TRAINING (Odyssey Middle School)

1 HOUR OF NYSE TRAINING PER WEEK

All NYSE participants will receive Skills Training held by our professional staff members.

GAMES (Lake Nona Middle School)

LEAGUE GAMES EVERY SATURDAY (8 Games Total)

All games played at Lake Nona Middle School. Games will be played from 9am-1pm.

ASSESSMENT DAY SCHEDULE - AUGUST 21ST, 2021

4th, 5th, 6th & 7th Grade - 11am-12:30pm

What To Bring:

Please have your player bring his/her own basketball. If your child brings a drink, please make sure it is labeled with his/her name. Player must wear basketball shoes to minimize the chance of possible injuries. Basketball shorts are required. (No pants please).

Check-In Process

Our staff will host a number of drills, then we will end the assessment with a scrimmage. We will not be allowing observers into the gym till the start of each assessment. Only players will be allowed to enter the gym early to shoot around. When you arrive, your child will be assigned a number that will be used to identify him/her. You will later receive more info via email regarding which team he/she has been place on, including the training/practice/game schedule.
